![]() So our tour lasted one and half hours longer than planned, just because we felt so comfortable. It felt like sitting together with friends and we talked about so many things. Even the boss of the company Vittoria joined us. ![]() And last but not least we visited the last surviving farm in the center, where we had our first typical Italian "Aperitivo". Additionally we got the chance to try real mozzarella (not the industrial one of the supermarket) in the production lab. We looked behind the scenes of a historical pastry shop and tried the best Amaretti of Milan. With the help of her iPad Mirella gave us a really good understanding of the city and its development. She’s sweet, entertaining and her English is great. It was only me, my boyfriend, a lady from Milan and of course our wonderful guide Mirella. It really showed us a new perspective.Įven though we didn't book a private tour, it was very private and personal. It will change your mind about Milan completely. Their tours are so different from all the others and it is really affordable. On our Euro trip we stayed in Milan for one day and to make the best of our short time there, we booked the Food Experience Tour (just one of the tours, that Urban Safari offers). She demonstrated how much she really cares, for us a heart-warming and an unforgettable experience. Vittoria has been extremely helpful in finding the luggage back and in organising its dispatching to our home. We had a special experience after having forgotten a piece of our luggage on the train to the airport. ![]() We recommend UrbanSafariTours without hesitation for those who want to be taken through Milano by a very knowlegeable insider and be shown special places beyond the beaten track. She also gave some very good restaurant tips, allowing for a perfect ending of the tour with a very tasty and not too expensive meal. Mirella was very accessible and smiling and we felt confortable with her from the very first minute of our encounter. Mirella was able to answer all of our questions, even those of my daughter of 16 who is a specialist in asking unexpected and tricky questions! We wanted to see contemporary architecture in Milan and Mirella, a very knowledgeable and friendly guide, showed us marvellous places inside and outside, guiding us through sealed doors to places only accessible to Milanese with inside knowledge. Our renowned Parakeet Encounter, Kangaroo Walkabout and popular red pandas are just a hop away from the nurseries. We booked on short notice a 3 hours tour fully taylored by Vittoria to our wishes. Fennec foxes, owl monkeys and cotton top tamarins are just examples of those that hang out in the nursery area. Baby kangaroos to small reptiles, the nurseries have a lot of really cool little critters to see. The nurseries are teeming with all manners of new additions. ![]() Goat Mountain is just down from the hill from our theater. You’ll see our mini amphitheater where we have several Wildlife Presentations daily. Good food and cold drinks await! After you’ve stopped for a snack you can hang a left and visit with our spider monkeys or you can take right and visit with our lions and other big cats in our Feline Center. From our lesser flamingos to our beautiful black swans, we know feathers.Īny way you walk out of the Waterfalls Area you can see our Safari Snack Shack. When you walk through the front gate at Timbavati Wildlife Park and pass the ticket booth you land right in the middle of the Waterfalls Area.
